Background
We have specialised in online Pay for Performance marketing since 1998, when UK Web Promotion (now OMG Search) was launched, specialising in search engine optimisation. Early success in SEO led to the formation of UK Internet Directories (now Compare-Online), one of the UK’s first and most successful affiliate businesses. In 2001 Online Media Group was formed to combine previously separate elements of the business under a single umbrella.
Experience as an affiliate – working direct with advertisers and with the fledgling affiliate networks – revealed a significant gap in this emerging sector for a network offering a premium service level to leading advertisers and affiliates. Where other networks offered a ‘one size fits all’ software platform, none had fully embraced the need for a flexible, responsive, people-based network. In late 2002 OMG Network was launched to fill this need. OMG Network has subsequently developed to become the UK’s most successful affiliate network in the financial services and insurance sectors, with an ever increasing presence in retail, travel and lifestyle.
Now employing over 55 people at purpose-designed offices in Norwich, OMG continues to be a privately owned and managed business.
